Further pressure in campaign to keep central Beverley Post Office open.

The Post Office plans to close the much used central Beverley Post Office and staff to the cramped WH Smiths shop, apparently on adverse terms and conditions of employment. From the start the Liberal Democrats have been campaigning to stop this closure and keep the existing Post Office open.





On Saturday 19th January we were in central Beverley with a broad range of other political activists including the Communication Workers Union, whose members are adversely affected by the closure, and members of the Labour and Conservative parties.
